Alex calls her cleanse Rainbow Maui Chakra Cleanse. Each day a different coloured food is the main focus as well as the chakra to go with it! Short mediations and yoga poses come with each day to make this a chance to create new habits and be inspired by the others in the group!
Many cleanse masters first solved their own health problems through juicing before turning to lead others down the path. Alex Leikermoser known under the moniker “yogagurl ” was just 30 when she was sidelined by chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia during the height of her career as an eco-Interior Designer.. Conventional Western doctors weren’t able to solve her health crisis, and, unable to run her business, she was forced to take a sabbatical and look to alternative medicine. She began seeing various alternative doctors i.e. Naturopath and Osteopath. Fifteen years ago, there were far fewer resources and books on juicing than there are today. Alex stumbled upon the right people and eventually was led to Ann Wigmore's book and was already naturally eating raw! Juicing and plant based diet became a cornerstone for her recovery as well as meditation and yoga! She designed her own health program and began with a five-day juice feast, then added raw vegan foods back into her diet. Within three months, she was well again. In order to tweak her methods and offer her healing program to others, Alex headed back to school for yoga certification and over the past 15 years has inspired the health transformation of 100's of clients one on one and 1000's in a group setting.
Alex has hundreds of stories about clients who have turned their lives around. With many of her clients referred by past participants, she’s helped countless individuals lower their blood sugar, boost their energy levels, and lose weight through juice feasts. “Our bodies were designed to heal,” she says. She says that getting back on a healthy track is simply about recognizing what aspects of our lives need to change — and about investing in and committing to healing.
Juicing when incorporated into a healthy balanced diet can aid in promoting health.
A green juices a day is a great way to get into daily juicing, as drinking fresh juice can provide an early morning energy boost. Alex's Personal Green Drink recipe is : A green vegetable base, such as spinach, (or kale) cucumber, and/or celery, and include apple, ginger and a squeeze of lemon for alkalinity!
They’re also an easy and tasty way to get extra servings of leafy greens, root vegetables, and fruits. Other juice blends can help combat allergy symptoms, revitalize the lungs, and cleanse the colon.
While not essential, it’s recommended that you juice with organic fruits and veggies whenever possible. Drinking any of those things in a concentrated form will only serve to counteract the healthful properties of the juice. When organic produce isn’t available, peeling fruits and veggies is the way to go.

These encompass overall balance in life & work, being playful and fun in my approach to my health, achieving optimum wellness, cutting edge design, and sustainable visions. Meaning I have come to understand the body, mind spirit and how to bring yourself in harmony in your life, your work and relationships.
That leads me to how I came to start writing this book over 5 years ago, abandoned ship and the series of incidents that propelled me to now design a website and finish my book and get it out there to the world!
